LIL NIGHT RIDER

MEET OUR BROODMARE

  • "In June of 2025 I got Daisy (Lil Night Joe - 2022) from Travis. I was switching from English to Western and was looking for a smaller horse that was easy to deal with and most importantly, it needed to have great movement. Travis suggested I have a come see a little chestnut mare he had bred. Daisy is a perfect fit for me. She moves great, is easy to take places, has a very outgoing personality and is always happy to see me come in the barn. She is a well put together, pretty mare that gets noticed. At clinics we have been complimented on her movement and style. Thanks to the start from Travis, Daisy has been the experienced part of the team as I learn to do ranch trail obstacles. We are still learning about each other, but I see this partnership lasting for a long time. Our future goals are attending ranch clinics and maybe even a ranch show at some point.”

  • "Purchasing Ruf Town Girl (2025 filly by Shining In Town) from the TSPH breeding program was an easy decision, even after I had convinced myself that finding my next partner would be a tall order. As a long-time competitor on the Maritime reining circuit, I’ve had the privilege of watching Polly’s dam excel in the show pen and establish herself as an outstanding producer over the past decade. Travis’ program also checked every box I was looking for in a competitive Non Pro horse: athletic ability, versatility, long-term soundness in both body and mind, and a willing attitude that makes them happy to go to work. Seeing the consistent results produced through strong genetics and a quality training program gave me complete confidence in the investment I was making. Even as a yearling, Polly is already showing the promise to carry on that track record. I couldn’t ask for a better environment for a young horse to grow up in, or a better place for me to learn alongside her. The support and guidance from the TSPH team has been truly invaluable, and I’m excited to continue this journey with them."
